General Admission Requirements for Enrollment at the Institute

• Applicants may enroll in the Institute after successfully passing the written and oral admission examinations and the personal interview.
• Applicants must hold a university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• The Institute’s study program consists of four academic semesters (two years). Students must complete at least 48 credit hours to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Coptic Studies.
• Students are required to attend at least 75% of the total hours prescribed for each course. Students who fail to meet this attendance requirement will not be permitted to take the final examination and will be considered to have failed the course, unless they provide an acceptable excuse approved by the Institute’s Student Affairs Committee.
• The number of courses taken in each academic semester must be no fewer than 6 and no more than 9 courses.
• Students may not be exempted from any of the courses prescribed by the Institute’s regulations.
• A student who obtains a diploma from another college or institute, or from the Clerical College, during their period of study at the Institute, and who becomes eligible for an academic degree, must submit a request for its recognition and approval by the Institute’s Student Affairs Committee.
• The Institute reserves the right to suspend a student’s enrollment for one academic year upon the student’s request, subject to approval by the Institute’s administration.
• Students are required to complete any newly introduced courses established by the Institute during their period of study.
• A student is considered officially admitted to the Institute after completing all admission documents, obtaining the approval of the Admission Committee, and paying the prescribed fees. The Admission Committee’s decision is not considered final until the final admission results have been officially approved.
• Any information submitted by the student that does not comply with the Institute’s general admission requirements will not be accepted, and the student’s enrollment at the Institute will be considered null and void.
